| Job description and responsibilities: |
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the implementation of Engineering Projects, in accordance with the scope, budget, schedule, and the requirements established by the customer, as well as for defining procedures to ensure reliability and consistency in engineering documentation to ensure proper and timely procurement, construction, and opening of the project.

| Requirements and Qualifications: |
Minimum Requirements :
1. Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Mechanical). Master’s degree in Project Engineering or Project Management.
2. 10 years of experience in managing large engineering projects with interdisciplinary technical staff.
3. Spanish Language 50%
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plans, organizes, directs and controls complex engineering projects.
2. Defines the scope of project activities for all engineering disciplines within a project.
3. Develops and executes an Implementation Plan for an Engineering Project and produces a Project Procedures Manual.
4. Plans, allocates and coordinates all engineering resources required to execute the project.
5. Identifies, approves and controls all design changes required and reconciles them and their impact with the client.
6. Provides support for the construction and commissioning areas to clarify technical issues and prevent re-work.
7. Designs and implements an efficient Change Order Control System for change management.
8. Supervises and controls manpower, monitors efficiency and schedule compliance.
9. Participates in planning and implementing the administrative close-out of the project.
Additional Requirements:
Willing to change residence to Mexico. Working knowledge of Spanish. This position is intended to be a local hire with compensation I the local currency. Relocation considered for the right candidate.
Knowledge of:
Equipment and construction materials, construction standards and procedures, environmental regulations, cost estimating, and resource planning. Extensive knowledge of specialized design software such as: CAD, AUTOCAD and SAP. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet-Intranet, and project scheduling software.
